Info about the product

Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen

Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen is a Danish design duo consisting of Emil Krøyer and Mads Sætter-Lassen. The pair met during a blacksmith course at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where they both studied architecture and design. Since then, they have worked on furniture and product design that balances craftsmanship with sharp architectural elements. Their furniture is not only functional but allows function to become an aesthetic point in itself. With an intuitive understanding of form and proportions, the duo challenges conventional perceptions of how furniture can occupy space.

Each design is an exploration of the balance between the robust and the elegant, the handcrafted and the industrial—where complexity is simplified without losing character or expression.

With the Korinth sofa, our aim was to design a piece that could embrace both the body and the space around it. It should be inviting, yet with sharp details—a sofa that makes a statement without overwhelming the room
